63-67 of 365

Man a whole week slipped past me!

63: I'll take some salt
063
I collect... well a lot of things... but the most accepted thing I collect is ceramic salt and pepper shakers. Really, I think I'm getting out of the whole collecting thing... I haven't bought myself anything for my own collections in a really long time. Priorities, it would seem, have shifted. But I still love what I have. And this is probably one of my fav sets of shakers.

64: One step forward, two steps back
064
I stopped running because I was hurting my ankles. So I decided to walk for an hour and see where it got me. 4.5 miles later, I got the biggest blister I've ever had in my life... that promptly popped (no I didn't pop it... it scraped on something... I did help it along once I was started though... so gross)

65: oceans in ohio
065
Olivia loves the annoying neighbors yard, because it has a giant pine tree. I was trying to get her to come to our yard, when I noticed the random shell. They're actually all over their 'gardens.' Really random.

66: silence is typically bad
066
Anyone with kids (especially more then one) will agree... silence is not golden.

67: Thank God for Sunday
067
I make pancakes every Sunday. Tims Grandma gave us the griddle... it was theirs, and they said they had only used it once or twice in the 10 years they'd had it. Well I've used it every Sunday since we aquired it. Thanks Grandma!! We make great use of it!

Just seeing if I can post a larger photo....

I changed the layout (not that you can really tell) so that I can post larger photos... lets see if it worked...

man he puts up with a lot

Ok, so the reason I photographed Tim a couple days ago, was because I wanted a shot of his eyes. I love Tims eyes. Claire has Tims eyes. They change color a lot. Usually they're green, but depending on anything from his shirt to his mood, they can turn a slatey grey or even a rich blue. Tim is also incredibly blind. His prescription is so bad, he has to buy the really expensive kinds of lenses that are super incredibly easy to scratch - because the normal lenses are too heavy for frames.

I've obviously been fascinated by Tims eyes for some time... there's a framed photo in our hallway that I took of Tim when we were in college for a photography assignment... its similar to these... close up, no glasses... just eyes.

I'm also just plain eager to photograph someone other then the girls. Don't get me wrong - I love and adore them and love and adore photographing them... I just like the challenge of someone new (which, if you're reading this and thinking "Heck, I have an afternoon where I'm not doing anything and wouldn't mind blowing an hour of my time with Heather" email me! You don't have to buy a thing... trust me, it would not be wasting my time. I love the practice! Plus you'll most likely end up on the blog LOL!)

So here's a couple more from Tims modeling session. Which, by the way, he hates doing - but does it because he loves me (awwww)

DEAR GOD - WHAT IS THAT!?!?!?!?!

062

because Holly is insane

Holly has decided she is an uninspiring MLP customizer... which is nuts. I love her stuff (she'll say its because I'm her friend... well yeah, and because she's amazing!) and I do think she goes unrecognized more often then she should. So I'm going to photograph some of my fav Hollys. Starting with my most recent... My first 'commission' (I put that in quotes, because really, other then "Hey I'd like a custom with a lamb and a bunny," Holly had free reign. Because I trust her)

How is this uninspiring!? Look at all that scrolling!

Even the lamb has a teeny tiny platypus!!! The detail is crazy!!
Holly, you are insane!! Love you!

the HAND!!!

Once upon a time, two Christmas's ago, we Nessers got an Old Macdonald story book on a glove with finger puppets attached to it. Olivia didn't much care for it... and as Claire got older, she didn't much care for it either... until Daddy got ahold of it. When Daddy is in control of the book, that book just gobbles up little girls. And the little girls just LOVE it!

Going on record that I got a Pullip

So, my friend Mandy collects Pullips. It's a japenese doll, that people collect like crazy (kind of like MLPs, or Beanie Babies, or whatever else someone collects.) When I first saw one, I thought it was UGly. Majorly. Then Holly got one. And then two. And then 5. Day after day of seeing the dolls... well... they started growing on me. The main thing collectors seem to do with the dolls is take photos of them. Well heck, I love to take photos of things... I might need me one of these dolls!

So anyways, I got one... and I've already started photographing the heck out of her. I promised Tim I would not buy any more (which I wouldn't anyways... they can be pricey, and its much easier to just change the wigs on the doll you have to create a 'new' doll.) For those in the know, my pullip is a customized My Melody, who I'm calling Jubilee.
